MCLL has an amazing opportunity for all registered coaches in preparation for the Spring 2024 season. Please mark your calendars for Saturday March 9th

MCLL HOSTS DOMINATE THE DIAMOND 

Dominate the Diamond has been training MCLL coaches for many years via online videos and training, this year MCLL has secured IN PERSON training with Dominate The Diamond for all of our coaches.  This is an amazing experience not to be missed.  Duke Baxter and Steve Nikorak founders and owners of DTD believe that coaches have the opportunity to shape the lives of their players each season, not only teaching them the game, but also valuable life lessons like teamwork, resilience, hard work, and respect.  

Dominate the Diamond ( Check them out on Facebook/ Instagram- Dominate The Diamond ), is the premier coaches training organization on the East Coast.  Duke Baxter and Steve Nikorak the founders and owners of DTD are bringing their expertise in coaches training to Maryland for this special event.  

The event will be hosted by MCLL for all baseball and softball coaches at Sligo Middle School (1401 Dennis Ave, Silver Spring).  There are three time slots on this day for you to come and learn from the best in baseball/softball coaches training.  

Session 1 and 3 will be identical.

MCLL requests that the manager for each team take this free course.  

Coaches that take the course and e-mail their certificate to coachdevelopment@mclittleleague.org by 4/1 will be entered into a raffle for free MCLL swag from the MCLL store. 

Required for all summer tournament coaches.

Coaches In Person 2024 Mandatory Meeting

The 2024 meeting will be hosted by the MCLL Board of Directors, on Tuesday March 5th.  The meeting will take place at Montgomery County Community College-Rockville Campus.  The meeting will be held in TA-156, Arena.  Kick off starts promptly at 6:30p.m. for an all coach information session.  Tee ball and Coach Pitch coaches will be dismissed at approximately 8:00p.m.  Minors AA - Juniors coaches will then be broken into small focus groups or larger informational sessions.  The evening will end no later than 9:30p.m.

It is mandatory that at least one coach from each team attends the in person coaches meeting; however, all coaches are encouraged to attend this informative evening.

Parking is in any of the student lots, white lines, not yellow.
