Bethesda LL

Bethesda Little League (BLL) chartered in 2007 and started play in spring 2008.

Bethesda Little League (BLL) merged with Montgomery County Little League (MCLL) and was officially accepted by the Little League Charter Committee on Dec. 2nd, 2015. In its final season Spring 2015 BLL had 94 Majors players.

The League is divided into an Upper County and a Lower County division. Teams from the former BLL area will play in the Lower County and will play on the same field (North Chevy Chase Local Park Field #2) that they have used in the past. Upper County teams will continue to play in Germantown/Gaithersburg area fields. MCLL will field two Little League Majors Tournament teams, one from each division.

For the 2016 season only Minors and Majors Divisions will be chartered and played in the Lower County. Upper County will charter divisions from Tee-Ball through Juniors. Lower County residents are allowed to play in an Upper County Division if the division is not offered in the Lower County.

We would also like to thank the guidance of BLL's former League President, Brant Hester, for assisting us in this transition as well as Ray Thomas and Anne Lubenow who will be joining the MCLL Board of Directors.
