MCLL Softball Winter Pitcher's and Catcher's  Clinic

MCLL is hosting a free pitchers and catchers clinic at Baseball Zone, 9125 Gaither Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20877  

The clinic will be broken into two sessions 6-8 year olds and 9-12 year olds.

• Pitchers must bring their own catcher, the catcher must bring catcher's gear and a face mask.

• Space is limited.  Don't wait to sign up

Saturday February 24

• Ages 6-8 - 12:30-1:30 

• Ages 9-12 - 1:30-2:30

• Professional experienced coaches

• For all sessions, kids need their own gloves and bats (except for pitching clinics).  No cleats, only turf shoes or sneakers.

• Space is limited, all sessions will sell out.  Don't wait to sign up!

Saturdays from January 6 to February 3 

Rob Sharp, a longtime MCLL Board member and local travel ball and high school coach, will lead our Saturday sessions.  All Saturday sessions will take place at Baseball Zone, 9125 Gaither Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20877

• 12:30 - 1:30 pm - pitching (ages 8-10; Minors): $225 (8 players max)

• 1:30 - 2:45 pm - general skills: hitting/fielding (ages 7-10; Minors): $250 (12 players max)

• 2:45 - 4:00 pm - general skills (ages 10-13; Majors/Int.): $250 (12 players max)

Sundays from January 7 to February 4

Tommy Sanchez from Training HQ will be our Sunday head coach for the below sessions, which will take place at Baseball Zone, 9125 Gaither Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.

• 11:00 am - 12:15 pm - general skills: hitting/fielding (ages 7-10; Minors): $250 (12 players max)

• 12:30 -1:45 pm - general skills: hitting/fielding (ages 10-13; Majors/Int.): $250 (12 players max)

• 2:00 - 3:00 pm - catching (ages 9-13; Minors/Majors): $225  (8 players max -- need your own catchers' equipment)

Michael Jayner is a youth baseball coach with extensive experience teaching kids of all ages the core concepts of hitting, pitching, fielding, strategy, and sportsmanship. The sessions will be held at Arrington Training and Development, 15151 Southlawn Lane, Suite F, Rockville, MD 20850.  

• 1:15  - 2:15 pm - pitching (ages 10-13; Majors/Int.): $225 (12 players max)
