Coach In-Person Training  - Fall 2023

Tee-ball and Coach Pitch Baseball

Although all Lower County and Upper County managers and coaches are invited to attend, it really will be focused on first-time volunteers.

• Baseball: Saturday, August 26, outdoors at North Chevy Chase Park, 4105 Jones Bridge Rd, Chevy Chase, MD 20815

  • 9:30 - 10:30  am: Tee-ball

  • 11:00 am- 12:30 pm: Coach Pitch

AA/AAA/Majors Baseball

• Please mark your calendars for an upcoming day of coach training sessions to prepare you for the Fall season. On Monday, September 4 (Labor Day, in the morning), Rob Sharp from RPS Baseball and the MCLL Coach and Player Development Committees will give two FREE coaching clinics.  All Lower County and Upper County managers and coaches in AA, AAA, and Majors are invited to attend!
  
  Monday, September 4, outdoors at North Chevy Chase Park (4105 Jones Bridge Road, Chevy Chase):

• 10:00am - 11:00am:  AA/AAA Pitching Clinic - how to teach pitching at the earliest stages

• 11:00am - 12:00pm:   Kid-pitch Defensive Teaching Principles - learn more about defense, the most underappreciated part of the game

Little League Diamond Training Program (required for tournament coaches) - FREE educational resource that provides coaches with an understanding of the impact that mental, social, and emotional well-being has in youth sports through detailed information, interactive scenarios, and a variety of additional resources.
