MCLL Opening Day Celebration

    1. Forms will be emailed and posted on the website with Price Sheet and must be present for all kids.
    2. Parents can view the pictures and retake at the end of the whole event.

Top Things to Know About Opening Day

  • Participation - The Opening Day Celebration is for EVERYONE. All players and families should plan to participate. Best of all, this will be an exciting event for players, parents, and families!
  • Uniforms - Players should be dressed in your FULL UNIFORM for our Opening Day Celebration!
  • Parking - Please ONLY park in appropriately marked spots - park police will be on hand that day and they will ticket your car if it is illegally parked. We encourage you to carpool to minimize the amount of cars at the event. Please park in one of the following - general parking for Field C & E, or across the street at the Field F parking lot.
  • Activities - In addition to the team and league photos, all teams will be announced onto the field, special guests will throw out the First Pitch as well as help get our season underway with "play Ball":. There will be music, moon bounces, games, and contests for the players, plus other fun family activities. The Germantown Volunteer Fire Department and Montgomery County Police Department will be on hand to show off their emergency vehicles.
  • Help Needed - We will need some additional assistance to make the event a success. Please look at the Sign-Up Genius (MCLL Opening Day 2019 - Coming Soon) and find a task that suits you.
  • Weather Plan - There is no rain date for this event. We are hoping for wonderful weather for our celebration!
  • Sponsors - We love our sponsors and they will have great opportunities for visibility at this event. Please visit these incredible businesses as they do so much to help and support the boys and girls of our league.
  • Food - Food Trucks will be on site to satisfy your every taste.

BONUS TIP: Be sure to dress for the event. Players need to be wearing their uniforms, but they can have layers underneath.
