Tee-Ball
Tee-Ball Parents,
If you are wondering what the next steps are for your child in MCLL then hopefully this email will explain.
Evaluations
Tee-Ball players do NOT need to attend player evaluations.
Teams
Tee-ball teams are currently being formed. They are organized by geographic groupings, past teams, and player requests. The teams will be finalized on 3/11 and the rosters sent to the coaches. You will receive a notification on that day about your team assignment. Next your coach will contact you regarding practice location and times.
Equipment
Uniforms are provided as part of your registration. Equipment you are responsible for includes a glove, helmet and t-ball bat. There is a coupon available on our web site for 10% off at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Evaluations
The player evaluations for the Coach Pitch Division are Saturday March 5th and Sunday March 6th at Montgomery College - Germantown Campus in Building PG. Specific times are below. See our website if you need a campus map.
Place: Montgomery College - Germantown Campus; Building PG
Players requiring evaluation:
- All players
Date and Times
Your evaluation date and time are based on your division and your LAST NAME. Please try to make the time slot you have been scheduled for. Please arrive 15 minutes before your time slot to allow time for check-in.
Coach Pitch sessions:
- A-D: Saturday 3/5; 10:00
- E-K: Saturday 3/5; 10:30
- L-R: Sunday 3/6; 10:00
- S-Z: Sunday 3/6; 10:30
We understand that other commitments you have may interfere. If you cannot make your specific time slot, please email evaluations@mclittleleague.org with the alternate time slot for your age group that you can attend.
Evaluations will cover running, fielding, throwing, hitting and pitching. Please bring a bat and batting helmet; baseball glove; and wear sneakers. We will not be evaluating catching so catcher’s gear is not required. Evaluations will take about 45 minutes.
Draft
After evaluations the player draft will be held on 3/9 or 3/10. After the draft you will receive a notification about your team assignment. Next your coach will contact you regarding practice location and times. The coach will set a practice day, time and place.

Minors/Majors Parents,

Players requiring evaluation:
- All players new to Minors/Majors since last Spring.
- Returning players whose team is not returning (need a new team).
- Minors players who wish to be considered as a candidate for the Majors draft.
Players exempt from evaluation:
- Players returning to same team as last year at the same level.
Ask if you have questions. If in doubt, get evaluated. It never hurts to attend evaluations.
